I left our back door completely open today. I don't know what I was thinking - well, obviously, I wasn't. I tottered out ahead of West to unlock the gate, and just didn't head back to lock up the house. Thank goodness no-one was curious enough to jump over the gate and go snooping around the back during the 11 hours we're away from the house.
When you're a certain size and a woman, your thighs touch each other at the top, and rub together as you walk. (I guess this happens to men too, of a certain size, but with the shape of our thighs, it's certainly more common with women.) My thighs have touched and rubbed together ever since I turned 18 or so.
The other day I decided to buy a pair of stockings rather than pantihose - I hate the way pantihose slide down from your crotch during the day and hobble you, and then you have to go to the bathroom to haul them up again. So I thought stockings, with those tight elastic bands that sit on the top part of the thigh, would be an improvement.
I'd forgotten the crucial point of the size of my thighs, though. No material between my thighs + summer + walking = welts. I seem to have terribly delicate skin. Ouch. Pants for me tomorrow, and pantihose in the future.
An Ebay seller emailed me asking me when I was planning on paying for something, when I've already emailed them twice asking for their bank details and received no response. Gah. I always transfer money immediately - I hate the implication that I'm trying to delay payment.
The item in question is The Sims 2, which I'm looking forward to getting. I've never actually played The Sims on a fast computer before - my Sims always moved very jerkily and occasionally froze. But now we have our very speedy computer, I'm celebrating (very belatedly) with a new game.
Ahh, to bed. I'm heading into work early tomorrow, as my desk is a mess, and I have a brief to get out and a meeting to sort out an affidavit first thing in the morning.
