2005-10-09 - 6:56 p.m. I'm going to give myself a pedicure tonight. Bucket full of hot-as-I-can-stand water in front of the TV, a nice big towl, an exfoliating scrub, and heaps of moisteriser. Best Sunday night activity ever - I go to sleep with my legs relaxed like jelly. I washed my hair last night, but it was fairly straight this morning, and I didn't have the curly boof that I've grown quite fond of. It puzzled me, until I realised that I used my "Sleek and Straight" Pantene conditioner last night, instead of the "Curls" one. How strange. I thought that was just marketing bullshit, but apparently it does have some effect. Latest musical obsession - Alison Krauss and Union Station, which is kind of folky country. And Alison has the most gorgeous clear voice, and plays amazing fiddle. I've been listening constantly to Lonely Runs Both Ways. I'm now going to collapse in the shower. For a weekend where I haven't done much, I feel strangely exhausted. The unseasonal heat probably has something to do with it. After a few hours, it saps your energy. And increases crankiness potential ten-fold.
