I've been listening to Ben Harper's Diamonds on the Inside CD nonstop for a few weeks. The above lines come from Amen, Omen, one of my favourite tracks (but I also love Everything, Blessed to be a Witness and Picture of Jesus).

I've been wasting time on the internet ever since I arrived home, and suddenly it's late. Where has the evening gone? I've got to think about cooking something for dinner.

On discovering that my boss is only ten years older than I am, I said "Oh, you're just a baby! I'll be treating you with a lot less respect from now on."

Have I mentioned how much I love having a boss I can joke with? This is my direct working partner, rather than Super Boss. I love not having to watch what I say. Most of the time, anyway. I do try to maintain a veneer of professionalism. Just a thin veneer.
